New Glass... Where to buy ???

I think I found some driver/passenger windows...
But looking for windshield and hatch...

I believe the side windows are all the same, says sedan / convertible... I don't believe there is any difference for TTop cars...??

Thanks...

Rafael

Any windshield installer should be able to get a new windshield for you. I'd be surprised if anyone was reproducing the rear hatch glass though.

Re: New Glass... Where to buy ???

I found a few windshields... even the local guy who at first didn't have any...

Then while looking for Driver / Passenger windows.... found some "82-92" ones, but found a Classic Inudstries video on 90-92 Fbody windows...
They only have 1 side now...
The other dealer, I mentioned to them, that 90-92 may have specific windows (different than 82-89) and she verified they are different...
So now the hunt for those... they had 1 unused rear hatch, $1000....
More as I find out...

Side windows/rear hatch I would source from the salvage yards. Most of those could be polished up. Hawks would probably ship to you.

Learned something new if the 90-92 are different... can't think of why they would be unless maybe a different temper to meet safety regulations... if that is the case you could use the newer ones... or maybe they added UV filtering in 90 to help solve the seat belt buckle issues (UV light caused the red button to get brittle)

Re: New Glass... Where to buy ???

The glass from my 91 is on the right side. The new glass for an 82 to 89 or 90 is on the left. The only difference we could see was that the new glass had two holes instead of one, near the front bottom corner of glass. Where he is removing the bracket from the old 91, one hole, on the other one, they are two holes.

Not sure what goes there for the older cars, I thought the window bumper mounted to the window, but I guess it mounts to something inside the door.

the window regulator , the part that makes it go up and down , is different so the attachments are a bit different

either window should work
