I have the maroon colored 89 GTA, should be paint code 74U "Flame Red Metallic" and in searching for spray cans of that color (duplicolor and others) and I see GM used paint code 74U on the C6 Corvette, calling it "Victory Red"
Is this the same? Because Dupicolor offers a Victory Re spray can and it looks close. Can anyone verify? Thanks!

If they are both 74U, they are both the same color. I can verify it on my paint mixing system today at work
I just checked on my PPG paint mixing system. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME FORMULA. They are both 74, but different WA numbers, and the formulas are way different. I'm glad I double checked!!!
The car is old enough you won't find a touch-up bottle in a store anymore. There was a website you could order small amounts from, google touch up paint and see what you can find.

Yep. Or stop into a body shop and see if they can mix you up a little bit of paint. We have little touch up bottles with the brush caps at our shop, so if I have a little paint left over from a job, I will put some paint in the bottle and give it to the customer
