spoiler or high rise or 5in spoiler?

My car has the traditional spoiler on it that came on the 87 IROC's. It's going into the shop soon to be repainted. Before its dropped off Id like to buy a few things for it and I'm contemplating with going with either the 5 inch spoiler (longer version of the stock) or the high rise spoiler they put on the 91 and 92's.

Which do you think looks best?

I personally would stay with the 87's original,I love the 91-92 high rise but they go with the 91-92 ground effects.
I have the low rise on my 88 sport coupe,it came on it from the factory.
I would rather have the three piece spoiler,I guess that is why the low rise was only for half of the 88 model year sport coupes.

I dont ever remember seeing any 3rd gen Camaro with a low rise spoiler like that. That's pretty cool! It has the brake light in the spoiler which I like. With that said I decided to keep what I have because of the brake light. It will be needed for what Im trying to accomplish with my new paint. thanks for sharing

That style low rise spoiler on the Camaro was only used on the 88 Sport Coupe. They are neat cars. They aren't hotrods but they are unique for the spoiler and being the only sport coupe to come from the factory with ground effects. The RS was brought back for 1989 and the sport coupe went away as a model.

Ya know I've always thought that if it was a little...bit....wider. If it overhung the quarterpanels like the 91/92, that low spoiler would've been really cool. The width just looks.......short. Lol.

I agree. If they were a little more pointed on the front and overhung the quarter panel they would be much better looking.
