Does anyone on here know what this part (t-top edge) is called and where I can get a replacement?

You probably could replace it if you really wanted to disassemble it that far. My passenger side is broken in the same spot until I find a replacement I'm just going to bondo it and paint it again.

Yea, that one is pretty bad. Looks like a dog chewed on it. It's just a hard plastic trim that can usually be repaired with body filler if there is a crack, but that one is too far gone. I'd say if you can find a better t-top, go that route. I've never seen just that piece for sale before. I'm not sure it's even easily removable as it's bonded to the glass. I've never removed one of those before.

I'd probably make sure the large broken piece is aligned with the rest of the molding, then use a small cut-off wheel to put a straight cut across the crack, so you're left with a nice deep slot across both pieces. Might even cut a second slot. Then get some thin stainless wire, and cut a couple pieces about an inch long. Make sure your cut pins fit in the slot. Apply a slow curing epoxy to the slot, push the pin into the slot and epoxy until it's about in the mid point of the depth of the molding. Apply additional epoxy to fill the slot slightly above the surface. When it cures, sand the epoxy smooth with the molding, fill, prime, and paint. Along the rest of the crack, I'd try to cut another trench along the crack to provide room for epoxy to get into the joint, fill the trench and again sand it all smooth. Should be able to bond it back together without too much trouble.

Or just get another T-top.

Re: T-Top Edge

Guys I really appreciate all of your input. I don't want to get rid of the tops I have, as they have the VIN imprinted on them. I'm going to do what you guys suggested; body work. Thanks again and I'll post a finished product image, if it doesn't look like crap. haha!

I can't remember the name of the part but I think Classic Industries has them. I need one for my 89 so i am sure I saw they had them. Could be a bear to replace, I think there are 3 parts to remove to get to it.
