T-Top edge seal/trim???

Does anyone know where or if you can get the black seal that goes around a glass t-top? Im swapping over from lexan to glass. Or do you glass t-top owners know if it fine to use them with out. Im guessing not, because i know if you hit the edge of a tempered piece of glass it will shatter.

Its considered a piece of weatherstripping. You can find them on ebay from time to time. Look for T-Top weatherstripping. I think the pieces you want are the T-Top sweeps.

Ok, actually some of the early glass t-tops had that trim. But they also had hooks for mounting instead of the later pins.

I've got pins on both my sets and one set has the trim and the other doesn't. Both are off of an 86 Trans Am.

come to think of it, it probably depends on what brand (or type) you have. the ones in the pic that i posted are soft ray type, i have 2 sets like that. then there are the fisher and the plexi types, all of which have different mounting types.
keep in mind that the different types off glass requier diff seals
thanks
anthony.
