This is my first dark red car. Its an obvious repaint. My question is, does the stock color have any pearl or flake in it or is it just color? Mine has some sparkle to it I did not expect to see. I thought it was the stock color, but now im not so sure. Im trying to decide if Im going to fix a few spots, or do the whole car.

 

I think it depends on which dark red you have but don't quote me on that, my car is Flame Red Metallic, and it does have metal flake in it, but it is very subtle.

 

The color code off the rpo sticker came back "dark red" its a 1992.

 

guess that shows what I know...
