Like the title says, I want to paint my car red. I think id like a dark red more, but something more red than maroon to make my black heritage stripes stand out more. Thanks

 

My wife's previous '87 IROC-Z, was originally factory bright red, we painted it Light Toreador Metallic ('05-ish Mustang color)


It really pops in the sunlight:

 

That's a beautiful car, and I think that's what I wanna go with, but im still not sure how it'd look with the stripes.

 

Black stripes would look great with that color, just look at the headlight buckets as a teaser

Factory Dark Red Metallic

 

That was aactually one of the pics I saw that made me lean toward a dark red. You have a gorgeous car, but im not sure if id pick that color for my own. Maybe if I saw it with more sunlight? That right there makes me wanna spend the money on a nice set of louvers as well lol.

I've searched but I haven't found anything on this, has anyone painted a third gen crystal red metallic a C6 vette color? I think that'd be sweet

Its called a 1 year spoiler and was actually only produced for half a year in "88" on the Camaro Sport Coupe.(I found it in a wreaking yard and took the hole hatch that included the limo tint.) I like it because it blends in nice with the 2in. cowl.

 

the 91 red is a little red brown then the pre 89 cars.
I added silver heritage stripes on my car.

 

 

 

That is one beautiful color. I love Kandy Apple Red. The silver Heritage stripes look awesome, too.

17inch chrome TT2
also got the grey 15inch wheels ( 6 of those ) all with tires. think I'm gonna drive this summer on the 15inchers.
car has cost me a lot of money this year ( I think almost 10K ) so, just gonna buy 2 new tires fro the front ( bought 2 new for the rear last year )
and call it a day.

something that also would look good is 17 or 18" Iroc wheels from oasis.

take the chrome of the wheels and repaint them in the original iroc wheels color.

 

Do the wheels boot on as is or do you need spacers?

 

if you take 17x8 wheels with 0 offset you do not need spacers.
