hey guys,
well I finally got around to making my new console lid. I cut a piece of 2 inch wood to kinda look like the old lid(somewhat) and sanded it down, the attatched it to the console. using to wood makes it feel really solid, not like that cheap piece of crap plastic thing I had on there. all I need to do is wrap it in the padding and vinyl. but for right now its nice having a lid again to rest my arm on. not to mention it keeps the light from killing my battery while I'm at work.

I'll do it tonight if I can, by the way did you ever get the headlight modulator, and is it working ok.

 

That damn light stays on with my car too!!! Had to rip the little SOB out of there.

 

the wood was more then heavy enough to push the little switch down, so I have no problem now. making a new lid cost me about $10 and I think its worth it. its much stronger then the original.
