Re: 88 gta fog light help

Rock auto sells just the lens and reflector/bulb socket, not the entire bracket and bucket.

You take the two screws out of the front of the bucket and the lens and reflector come out.

I guess I don't understand what you are asking. Why are you trying to take the reflector and lens apart ? The bulb loads from the back.

The plastic brackets being held on by the two screws hold the lens and reflector in place.

I'm telling you my new one is glued on factory
my stock ones are like what you just said

It's winter here
I just have to wait untill the snow melts before I can get it up on my ramps
I thought it would be easy today
But it wasn't
you want to see more pics if the new one
all of them on eBay are like that
I just have no instructions to how to put it on

I still am not understanding. Take the two screws out and the plastic brackets on the sides to remove the old lens and reflector. Put new lens/reflector in. Put plastic brackets back and tighten screws.

Whether or not the new lens and reflector are glued together has nothing to do with anything.

I swear they are putting stupid in the water lately.

Rock Auto sold you #37 in the diagram. For the love of God, figure it out.

Re: 88 gta fog light help

Watch out. If you bump up the wattage too much, the H3 bulbs will overheat. Stock is something like 35w, they're available in 55w and 100w. The 100w will usually burn out within a couple days.
