Roll Cage/Bar questions
Roll Cage/Bar questions
I know this question has been asked alot but i need to find a roll cage for my 88 camaro. I expect to run in the 11's. What is a good cage 6 or 8pt that will still let me access the back seat, doesn't have to be easy, but do able. If you have any pictures let me know, i'm interested in seeing what they look like. Also, do i need to run a 5pt harness when i run in the 11's? if yes can i use a 5pt harness with my stock seats? I want to keep this as stock looking as possible but want the equipment to be able to run at the track when i want to. Thanks for any help

This is from an email response from chassis works (I inquired about the same thing a while back):
Part number 7001 $181
Add removable back brace $70
Add the swing-out side bars are $136.00 per side.
Total $523 before shipping and install, but you retain back seat use and easy entry/exit to car.

Yes, you can use the stock seats w/the 5pt harness. And you should use them.
Contact www.wolferacecraft.com for their info. They're doing my chassis work on my car. These guys work is on every Mustang under 9seconds that's worth a fart. They are the best.

Does any other company make bolt in cages? i liked the looks of those. thanks for the help guys
