Mirror drops

Did a search on the forums, could not find anything. So after having my car sit for 3 years and finally going and waking it back up, the drivers side mirror constantly drops. What do I need to do to fix it, or do I need to get a new cable and door adjuster? Its really annoying!

The "fix" I used to use was to disconnect the adjuster from the panel, spin it once or twice and while holding it in that position re-install it on the panel. Usually that puts enough tension on the cables to keep the mirror from drooping. Usually...
