question about my windshield area

question about my windshield area

as shown in the pics theres separation at the top of the windshield, do i just need to put a new rubber seal around or do i need a new windshield and the works? thanks for any responses in advance!

Looks like the windshield may have been installed too low, or possibly the urethane didn't adhere properly and the windshield slid down. The side gaps should match the top gap. Might be best just to replace the windshield.

That flap has shrunk over time from exposure to the sun. On one of my cars the flap has shrunk so much it has pulled away from the window at the corners and goes over the face of the windshield. If you know what you're doing you might be able to remove the glass, remove the old flap and install a new one, but it's easier to let the professionals do it. When I had a windshield installed the guy had the flap already glued on when he arrived, so all he had to do was remove and replace. Only took him 30-40 minutes?

Alright thanks, I was hoping I could just peel the old rubber out and put a new rubber piece in.
