Window problems

On my drivers side window the front doesn't roll up as much as the rear leaving a little gap. To get rid of the gap I have to open my door and pull up on the top of the front of the window. Am I correct in saying that this is from the window mounts becoming loose or the window slipping out of one? Any and all help is much appreciated.

Re: Window problems

Have you recently replaced the weatherstripping on that side? If not, you probably just have a weak window motor. Might be able to help it a bit by cleaning up the gears and putting some white lithium grease on them, but replacement may be necessary.

I have not replaced the weatherstripping at all I have ordered the triangle but was only able to get one for the passengers side. I replaced the motors a few months ago. I was looking on youtube and am going to try to adjust the window mounts. Thank you very much for your input I greatly appreciate it.

Re: Window problems

There are several points inside the door that adjust the positioning of the glass, have you tried playing around with any of them or are you familiar with them at all ? If not I can direct you to a YouTube video, after watching I was able to perfectly align both doors glass, although it took several hours on each side.
