This is my '88 GTA and the rust colored stains coming from the body seam appear to be signaling an issue. This car already needs the t-top channels, floor pans and battery tray replaced and has rust holes in the driver side A-pillar. I'm thinking that it may be best if I just part this car out.
The seam sealer along that joint is kaput. To be fair, the seam sealer in the entire car is probably past it's useful service life, like most thirdgens. The only reason more aren't rusty is because they never get wet.
Not a big deal if the metal isn't rotten, jsut scrape and pick out the old sealer, neutralize the rust, and apply new sealer.
I didn't see anything that would be troublesome unlike the floor pans. This cold weather just makes me unmotivated and to top it off, I think I just started my period..... lol
