Hello all. My dream since i was 16 was to have a third gen Camaro. Just got this sweet baby today and couldn’t wait to take her tops off and gawk at her, disbelieving she’s really mine. The thing is, when i put the t tops back on, one of them is slightly wobbly. Should the glass have any give at all or did i put it back on wrong?
Also, thanks for letting me be a part of this awesome community
Wobbly? You mean loose once installed? There is some adjustment on the body side behind the plastic trim pieces (one per side). Right where the pins go in there is a bracket the pin fits into. That bracket can be adjusted by loosening the two screws. There should be a plastic grommet on that little bracket also. The plastic trim needs to be removed to gain access.
It could also be your weather stripping is just flat from years of usage and thus not contacting the glass well enough to fit snug against it, so that's another possibility. May be other causes that i cant think of too.
Mine are never wobbly. If you have the edge of the glass properly seated in the center bar on the roof, and the latch handle closed / engaged, it should not move around.

I might have put it on wrong i have absolutely no experience with t tops at all.
That's understandable. Most folks today have not had the experience of taking them in and out.
You can watch this...it might help. But it's not the best for illustrating what I'm talking about. But at the 1:30 mark, he lifts the outside edge, leaving the inside edge in the t-top bar that runs between the two tops. It's that channel that the lips of the glass has to engage. When both are in and latched, they should sit just below that t-top bar, as seen at the 1:26 mark....pause it there and you can see what I'm saying, I hope. It's a little hard to describe. Odds are you have it in there properly, but it's worth checking. 84 1LE mentioned a few of the other possible causes.

Like others have mentioned, the holes that the t-top pins lock into probably just need adjusted down a little bit. Removing the plastic trim that covers the front ones are a little tricky. Back ones are way easier. The seals have probably flattened over time and just need the pin keepers pulled down a little.
