hood shut issues

Hey guys,
Have an original 88 IROC. Put new struts on and they are great, but the right/drivers side corner of the hood stays higher than the left side does when shutting. i don't wnat to chip the paint on the fenders. I lubed the hinges at all pivot point last night and it really didn't help. Any tricks or things i am missing? Hinges are original to the car and appear fine. I'd appreciate any thoughts.
Thanks so much

Re: hood shut issues

there is a rubber bump stop on the bottom...... It covers a bolt you can adjust...try look at that.
