Hood to bumper gap

I put on a 91 bumper on a 89 camaro iroc z, there's a considerable gap between the hood and bumper in the center. What if anything can I do to fix this. I've lowered the hood some and it doesn't fix it at all. Could I get a different hood or do I have to live with it

Re: Hood to bumper gap

Under the plastic cover there are 10mm nuts/bolts, on the center brace and next to the headlights. Loosen those and you will be able to adjust the gap.

Re: Hood to bumper gap

you could also slide the hood down some. loosen the bolts that connect the hood to the hinges, I believe they're slotted holes.
