Wiper Blade Replacements
I've seen recommendations on TGO that recommend Trico 18-2. The 18-2 appears to be the ticket; however, "compatibility" info claims they aren't a fit for an 85 Camaro. Comments or recommendations?

Re: Wiper Blade Replacements
There are 2 types of 18-2
The original 18-2 was the type that was ONLY pin style that was close to the original style.
The newer one in the above link is the type that would fit a hook arm and both a pin arm but works better than the old 18-2........ Im not sure if the old style is stil made or was replaced by the newer model...
Both will fit... in fact you can go bigger and get a 19 inch blade if you like as long as it has the pin hole attachment.

The Trico 18-2 looks suspiciously like the AC Delco 19192669 / 8-4418. And the other style looks suspiciously like the AC Delco 89000998 / 8-2182.

Re: Wiper Blade Replacements
I have an '84 T/A. The only source that I found was at thepartsplaceinc.com Blades as just like those on my '72 Buick Gs (sold last year). Look under buick parts on the site (hidden wipers).
What I found was that Trico no longer makes the replacement blades. They did a run a few years ago but not since.

Re: Wiper Blade Replacements
Thanks. That style is available on Ebay, but the seller's compatibility chart says that it's not a fit for my 85 Camaro. It will fit a 92, however. Interesting, if not confusing.

I don't trust the ebay compatability charts... .it seems most are incorrect these days!! I just bought a part for my Camry off ebay that says its not compatible, yet the number is a genuine toyota part that works / ive bought before etc...

Re: Wiper Blade Replacements
Cant you do the OE style wiper blade refills on your OE wiper blades frames?
Squeeze the keeper and slide the rubber wiper blade off the frame then slide the new refill in?
My 84s blades are like that.
In snowy NY I use a rubber covered winter blade from NAPA on my winter cars and truck.
