Oh, it's nothing close to the factory look. This was the factory bulbs with the amber caps before I swapped to the red bulbs. If you want to keep a factory look the amber are probably what you want. I ordered 12 red bulbs and 15 white 194 bulbs, and still have few left over, but I also changed out all the interior lights including the footwell and mirror lights. I don't remember exactly how many I used in the instrument cluster.

Interesting. Maybe they changed the color during subsequent model years? Mine is an '89. Also may be a regional difference in Canada? Either way looks like red may be the logical choice for you.
*edit* looking at the picture again, your lights are kind of red/amber. Mine are REALLY red. Might just be camera or the color temperature of my monitor though. There might also be a difference in color temperature between the different bulb offerings so results might vary a bit there as well. Kind of hard to say definitively which way to go.
Hopefully someone else who has done similar will chime in.
*edit again* Looked at the superbright led website and they don't appear to sell the bulbs I used anymore. FWIW.

Yeah mine are definitely a deep orange colour. Not red and certainly not white at all. I'll give them a call and see if they know where in the spectrum it lies because I'm thinking it's Amber too.

I went with the Red. Looks pretty slick. Super bright does have Amber. I may grab them. I do like the Pontiac Orange.
