tint on rear defrost hatch on outside or inside?

is the tint on rear defrost models go on the inside or the outside cuase it would be very difficult to put it on the inside cuase the window is all rigid cuase if it has to go on the outside, cuase i think i saw something a while back hinting that, i got louvers and the top peices where the louvers are sopposed to bend, well they broke and i had to atach them with epoxy and it would be a pain in the a$$. I love my louvers, i just want tint under them.

Inside. Tint on the outside would surely not hold up to all the elements. As far as the defroster grid....no problem tinting that, get it done by a reputable shop and I am sure you will not be able to tell the difference between a grid and no grid.
