My brother-in-law had an '83 Trans Am bought new with the bird logo on the power bulge. I didn't really think it added much to the car, but it didn't hurt either..
Not really a fan of the big full-hood bird decals. I thought they looked appropriate on the 2nd gen cars in the '70s, but were just out of place on the 3rd gens. Their time had past.
