wow i did see this post geting any action so i hav'nt looked but yea its the same scoop.i have decided not to use it m making a shaker hood with this hood scoop.what do you think.

i dunno it's awfully big to be using as a shaker. It's up to you what you do with your car but i'ld personally wouldn't use it.

well think about it there never been a cowl shaker hood and doing a full size cowl would be silly this unit will sink into the hood and look smaller i will post pics of process

i'll be nice and won't say what i'm thinking except to say if you flip it around and lower it I would like it better. then again it will look like a mad max car.

Trust me, a scoop that tall on the street will only get you in trouble. I have problems looking over my 6" cowl just driving around the pits.

Well the only thing i though would help was i was'nt planing on making it a fiberglass on scoop i wanted to make it a shaker hood so it would it about 2 inchs under the hood

ok im ditching the big scoop and picked up a trans am shaker im going to do i let you see the progress

here some pics i took today while it was warm out i faced the shaker towards the frount bad idear or good i think it looks cool both ways plus if i open it up forced induction. But there is a down fall i am having secound thoughs about it because this thing has to sit so close that it means i am going to have a hard time buying an aftermarket intake carb i had to do some cuting and this is going to be tricky.Any idears
