What is the correct grille and intake air system for a 1989 IROC-Z with the 5.7 TPI Motor? I was told the grille without fog lights was standard. If that was standard what air intake system was used with that? If the fog light grille was used, What air intake was used for that

 

Fog lights were standard on 1989 Iroc-Z's. The only 1989 Iroc-Z's without fog lights would be the 1LE optioned cars. In that case it would be fog light delete, but still have the same grill with the two openings where the fog lights would be. The air intake/air cleaner assembly would be the same with or without fog lights. In fact, the same air intake was used on TPI motors on 85-87 Z28's that did not have fog lights and had the louvered grille.
