Hood, fender, nose alignment

Have a look at these images... What can I do here? It seems the hood needs to go forward and maybe the the nose should come up more?

I've adjusted the nose as high as I can with the 4 screws on either side on the latch on the adjuster plate things... I've loosened the fender bolts to see if they move much to the rear (not really) and I've loosened the hood hinges to try to move forward. Thanks,

Slight misalignment on this side

Hood is more misaligned on this side

Gap because either the hood isn't forward enough, or the nose is low?

More of the gap
...

Hood needs to come forward a touch.

You can loosen the bolts at the hinge and wiggle it forward a bit. Careful not to rock it as you could hit and scratch your fender.

As I said a above, I tried that... Maybe I remove the hood and try again that way... I had the hood and whole nose off for the LS swap... Though if I recall (it took a few years) it wasn't perfect to start...

Try loosening the bolts that connect the hood hinges to the fender and move the hood & hinges towards the front of the car. I’m pretty sure there’s some adjustability there.

I second this. It is a fine dance for sure and helps to have an extra set of hands. May require a fender adjustment too, but I found the fenders find their "home" easier than the hood.
