Fender hood gap question

Is this Gap because the fender needs to be pushed in more on driver side. I loosen the bolts and tried to push the fender in but it would not move inward

Driver side with wide gap

Pass side

Try shifting the hood over. loosen bottom hinge bolts and shimmy in to the right.

Re: Fender hood gap question

The front of the hood in the back of the hood really don't have any space to move it's just the middle so if I move the entire bracket over it won't the front and back hit the fender?

Re: Fender hood gap question

It’s probably more an issue with the hood as it’s an aftermarket (I assume fiberglass?) piece. You could try elongating the fender bolt holes to try and push the middle in more. Not sure how much room there is between the bolt washer edge and the fender to do this though.

Re: Fender hood gap question

Id put a straight edge on the hood and that surface of the fender and see w hitch is the issue.

Re: Fender hood gap question

Took some measurements from the outside of the hinge to the inside of the fender. Is this the normal measurements?
(I know. My garage is dusty, haha)

Re: Fender hood gap question

Is your question about 1982 to 1992 Camaros and Firebirds?

Does your question have anything to do with fender to aftermarket fiberglass hood gaps?
