Fender Removal Question
Removing the passanger side fender here... I've got all the bolts out, but I'm not sure how the radio antenna wire comes off the fender! I see it running up the brace... how do I remove the wire to get the fender out?

darn, I was hoping drivers side, I know how to remove it, not the passenger.
Might have better luck asking in the body/interiour section.

Actually, the black thing that holds it on was stuck. So I broke the whole damn thing off! I'm going to re-run my antenna up along the fender lip. Not sure if it'll pick up worth anything... but it might. And look a LOT cleaner

Mine was stuck too when I went to pull it... I used a set of vise grips around it and it eventually broke loose.
After that I undid the bolt on the antenna support and the whole thing slid down in, and off it came!

What black thing? You mean the inner wheel well? Should be attached to the fender with plastic rivets... pull the center out with pliers, and the fastener comes out. I have an aftermarket antenna on mine; no lower support bracket. I re-used the grommet from the original antenna (power antenna) to feed the new coax through to the inside of the car.
The power antenna relay now does a new job; it gives my amps their turn-on signal. My radio just turns the relay on; it doesn't drive the amps directly.
Remember to re-align the fender to the door and the hood; don't just bolt it on. Otherwise you could ruin the paint of the fender, especially where the front edge of the door comes near it (when you open/close the door, the gap changes).

No, TomP, I mean the black thing at the base of the antenna, with 4 little grooves in it. It was stuck - spinning it spun the whole assembly. So I broke it down through the fender.
