Question on Firebird Headlights

On my headlights, the motors etc work great, but when they are on, every time I hit a bump the beam wobbles up and down.
If you hold the headlamp assembly, you can physically swivel it up and down slightly.
Is there an adjustment I am missing?

Cheers

Richard

There is a retainer that might be loose....

If it is JUST your headlight:

Raise your headlight.

Take off the black bezel around the headlight, there are 2 screws on each side of each headlight. (I think there T-15 torx)

Once that is off, there are Phillips #2 screws that can be tightened, on a ring that goes around the headlight.

If it is the entire assembly:

I would imagine the little bushings etc could be worn, or even your motor, could be wearing out. Open your hood and pay attention to where things stop moving, and concentrate on those areas. Thats the best i can do without seeing it.

There are also 2 bolts on the bottom of the entire assembly, which you can get to from beneath the car. If they are loose or missing, that will cause that problem aswell. I had the same prob, and those 2 bolts fixed it right up!
