Will a 84 Trans Am hood fit on a 89 Firebird

 

Yup, its the same hood on formulas. They don't have the ducting that the 84s had so theres a block off plate. But that doesn't matter at all.

you can get the block off plate on ebay or leave it open like I did.

Yeah, the hood it easy and the spoiler can be purchased as a reproduction from hawks. Theirs is fiberglass so its lighter and more durable than the stock formula spoiler.


these hoods are becoming more difficult to come by. If you have the opportunity, jump on it. I payed 350 for a perfect local one in 2020 and was thrilled w the price.

 

He is looking at $300 so it's a great deal
