Black, T-tops, 350 TPI thats already been made into a 383, the interior is nice and clean like mine, manual headers 3inch exhuast, like most the work is already done. Disc brakes all the way around,. found it over by where my mother is moving in, 3000 bucks has 85000 miles on it. Only thing wrong with it is the front part where the fog lamps are is all busted, but 10 bucks on ebay should fix that, so I'm not to concearned.

I listened to it alrady and drove it its real nice. Belong to the mans son who is now in the NAvy and stationed in Korea so he is selling it for him.

The guy is like 58, so good deal I think.

I'll have some pictures later on. I am helping my mother move, she just got married and I am moving into my own place myself, so kinda busy.

Haven't sold my car yet, taking offers.

And yes many people in ANY mind would take imports over a 3rd gen...now dont lie....Id take a nice 3000 GT over your car anyday....and dont say you woudent.
I think your on more than pot if you think I'd want a 3000 GT. I can't stand those damn things. The only thing good about them is women like them, despite how hideous they are. The the VR4s are quick, so I won't call them slow. Just hideous.

Friend of mine just got one a few months ago and he already wants to get rid of it. He was driving a ford probe before that... so what does that say about the 3000 GT?

But I do agree with you about people going off on the guy. I'm not a fan of imports, but if the guy wants to buy one let him. His money, his choices. Imports are reliable (mainly cause they run a 4cyl, so not like HP or TQ will break anything) and get good gas mileage. That's not to say a thirdgen isn't reliable, i'm sitting at 150,000 on the original tranny and engine. The starter and flywheel was replaced, the usual alternator and the tranny at one time had a seal leaking. That's with 150,000k on a l98. Not bad.

If your mother gets a cold, are you going to shoot her and get a new one? Break your arm and cut it off for a more reliable prosthetic? When your weiner stops working at 80, are you going to pull out the dremel and replace it with a stalk of corn and a straw? 13 months? The french stayed in Viet Nam twice that long.... now there is something to be ashamed of. You quit before the puzzy french army.

Some new guy is going to be on here in a week all happy. He'll have a story about how he bought an awesome camaro cheap off of some quitter funding his fat girlfriends fastfood habits that never saw a crack in the tranny. He'll JB weld it and drive for 600,000 miles @ 19 mpg and not be called an import driving beetch at stop lights. Sell it. I'm guessing the car doesn't like you either.

I bought a 1983 chevy citation for 750 dollars while my car sits in a garage and laughs at the snow and cold. My "winter junk" has 30K original miles on it (about 1500 miles per year...that's average right?) and I love and hate it at the same time. I hate every single damn thing about the car, and love it for giving me the capability of having my car in a winter wonderland (cleveland, OH) Just buy some junk, get a funny license plate and get by. Oh, and change your name on here to lose your punk status. I'll call you jim.

Thats nothing, when I bought my 83 Trans Am, it ran, drove ok, the only major thing wrong with it was the severe case of rust, and the driver side seat bracket was so badly rusted that the seat would rock back when you would accelerate. Has 135K on odomoeter. Thought about making it into my winter driver. But parted it out. Paid a whole $250 for it.

Bought a 90 Riviera for my winter beater. That car still does not have a speck of rust on the body, not even underneeth. I think they Galvanized the whole car, I dunno. only 186,000 miles on the car, orig motor, trans. The only problem I have with that car is I go through a whole pint of oil between oil-changes. You can pick those up for cheep too...

89transam,
I Quote, "Word."

I have been looking at that for 5 min trying to figure out if there is some sort of hidden meaning.

-I checked for spelling errors
:hail: -I considered the Bible, since it is often referred to as the "word of G od"
-I looked at it sideways,
-Pondered it a while, and to be absolutely honest, you stumped me.

On most days, I would say, ok, yeah, thats just normal, but today I took my medicine and I should be fine...

John

:lala: Im ffffine, rrreally, (hand twitches in conusement)

John

You got it right.... in this context the ebonic gem refers to the bible, the implied meaning is truth.

WORD
(this is the truth)

YOu know the truth is, I have 130,000 on my car, would not consider selling it, and it will go for another 130,000 miles, of that I'm sure. He can go ahead an buy rice, one more car to laugh at, that IS his perogative, however, people have every right to bash him for it. I mean c'mon you don't come on a THIRDGEN lovers site and bash the hell out of it and say you are buying rice. He was just asking for it, so BASH AWAY!
