Ram Air II Questions, Shipping to Canada?

I've always loved the look of the Ram Air II hoods on the GTA's, but I had no reason to replace my existing hood, until today....I got in a minor collision that screwed my hood partially (lowered car so hood got hit as well as front nose).

Instead of looking at this collision as a bad, I turned it around to be a good thing as I now have an excuse to by the Ram Air II hood I've always wanted!

I've been looking at GTAuto Accessories Ram Air hoods and I'm just wondering if you guys who have have bought hoods from them would consider them the top choice for a Ram Air II hood? Are they a bitch to install and align properly? Are any other added hardware required? I have hood struts that hold my hood up, can I still use them for the new fibreglass hood?

What about the rain? If the 'nostrils' of the hood are opened up, what stops the rain from rushing in and soaking you motor (TPI in my case)? Has anyone come up with a solution?

Bad thing is that I live in Ontario Canada, and the shipping cost of a hood and duty charges would be sky high! Does anyone know if there are any Canadian places that offer these Ram Air II hoods? Are there any Canadians here on thirdgen that have ordered a hood from the US and if so how much extra was the shipping charges etc.?

Isn't it strange how the worst of the worst are turned into good things? Good for you. The best possible solution is if the insurance is going to pay for the hood.

But...I want to know about the rain thing as well. Anybody know?
