best way to clean fabric seats?
I just bought my 88 IROC a month ago and my interior was DIRTY! I bought one of those little steam cleaners (Steam Mouse on eBay) and used it with my shop vac. People have said my interior looks like new. Of course the seats are worn, but they are CLEAN! Did the carpet and door panels while I was at it. Tuff stuff cleaner works really well, too. Oxyclean works really well. When I got my seats they had grease all over but the oxy took everything out. These seats look brand new...no lie. I just mixed the oxy in a bottle and sprayed the seats. Then I scrubbed them till my hands started to bleed (j/k) and hosed them down with a hose. After sitting in the sun for 5 hours they were good as new....and still soft.
I know yall are not going to belive this. But I bought my seats from a salvage yard and they were extremely dirty, I took them to the car wash and power washed them. They look brand new now. You will have to leave them out in the sun for a couple of day to dry out.
This really works, I did my carpet too, I layed it on the back of my truck and washed it.

My seats are still nasty lookin' though. Though that steam thingy was cool as hell til I burned myself. I think its time for new interior anyways though.
