Ok this is gonna be my first attempt at body work so I was wondering if anyone had some pointers for taking off the drivers side fender.

Do I have to take off the hood or nose???
Should I put the car up on ramps before I start??

Here is the story why I am doing this.

I just did this to my pas side fender on my camaro. Ok first raise the frount of the car and remove thw tire. then open the hood and unbolt all of the bolts on the fender and hood hinge on the fender. then unblot the bootom of the fender and the bolts that hold it to the nose( those are the hardest to undo) then have a friend left the hood on the drivers side as you pull it off. lift up and pull toward the back of the car. do the reverse to install the new on.

SWEET!!! This site still rocks!!!

I was scared I would have to pull the nose off to get to the fender!! But you answered my question perfectly!!

I'm gonna try and beat the dent out. I'll post pics of my results good or bad.

Thanks again,

I know I'm bringing this back from the dead, but approximately how long did this take you?

And how hard is it to get to that impossible bolt?
