take the headliner off
take the headliner off
ok i want to take off my headliner, and i have t-tops, i took out the sunvisors, but then i reach a prob. it might sound easy to you guys, but im confused, how do i get the headliner off around the dome light?
by the way i want opinions, i have a saggin headliner right now
with a white camaro, and red int. i think takin the headliner off will look bettter with the t tops off and seeing something that looks like my paint color better then ripped fabric and yellow foam, what do you think?

You have to take the dome light off by removing the two metal clips on the studs. Use a small screwdriver or needle nose pliers to do this.
I just recovered my T-top headliner...........pretty much followed the Tech article provided here. Mine had some weak areas but the article tells how to use fiberglass cloth to repair and strengthen.
I bought new material for $30. It took a lot of time and didn't come out perfect but way better then the cracked areas I had with the tops off. I like to try things myself before buying new.
Plus, this way you can recover it any color you want.
Also, when I bought the material, it came with new clips to hold the light assembly in place.
