Show me some pictures of your stock wheels on your car, and some close ups of them wheels them selves if you have any. My husband is about to purchase an '88 Camaro RS and I would like to see the Z28 wheels on the car.
Thanks!

I just bought a pair of those rims myself. Here is a picture I found on the web to show me what my car was going to look like. The car has the style rims you're speaking of. If you would like more pictures feel free to e-mail me.

I think these are the same on the Z-28, They aren't really shiny in this picture.

from the z28 pictures... i noticed that they werent as low as my 92 z28.. and i know of no suspension mods made.... Anyone know how i can tell if anything was done to my suspension.. i tested the springs, and they dont seem to be weak...
I had 245/50/16 on all four wheels... just got new tires, so now i got 245/50/16 rear, and for some reason, the new tires didnt fit with that size on the front, so i needed 225/40/16 or it was 245/50/16...
I forget, i am at college, wont see my car for 8 more weeks

hmm, I just bought a pair of those style rims for my 1990 Camaro RS. Why is it that you have to run a smaller tire in the front? And is this the same for all tires? Just curious, thanks!

I had to get smaller tires on the front because for some reason, new tires of the original size rubbed the inner wheel well when i turned... So i had to go an buy two smaller tires...
What happened was, i got a flat on the front... so i bought two new tires, had them put on the rear, and the ones from the rear, onto the front... but they were all the same size... and when i put hte old rear tires on the front, the tires rubbed when i turned.. so i had no choice but to get smaller ones for the front, because the new ones didnt even fit on the front without hitting the well... very wierd, my dad and I, and the guy at teh shop who we always go to for everything, didnt even know what the problem was...

Did you make sure they dismounted the tires and put them on the front and didn't just switch the wheels position because they are different offsets I believe.
none of the wheels were moved at all.... all tire swere dismounted and rebalanced... i was there while they did it, the guy is really cool, i hang around the garage and stuff, i learn alot of them.. anyways... yea i am sure the wheels werent moved... its interesting....

Even though this isnt a pic of a 91-92 Z,Heres one of my fav pics. The old Z rims look much better when they are polished.

I dont want new chrome wheels but I would like to hide that clearcoat if possible...its turing almost white in places...And down the road I would love for them to look like 91RedBigFinZ's...since my car is red..what all would be involved in that? how expensize?
