make sure you get accmats carpet.. from them directly (accmats.com) or through someone like 1aauto.com (they have the best pricing on it ive been able to find)... classic industries may have accmats as well, but they're most likely overpriced..

DO NOT USE CLASSIC INDUSTRIES!!! i bought the hatch carpet and they dont supply carpeting for the hidden compartment door or for over the wheel wells and as for the interior they do not give you carpet for the sides of the middle console. this screwed me pretty bad as i was changing my color carpet from gray to black. o well live and learn.

I disagree with BlackZ28 , I just put in new carpet in my 91 Formula 2 weekends ago.

I bought mine from CLASSIC INDUSTRIES and am very happy with it. It was easy to install and had all the padding glued to the carpet.
Gettin some new seats this month...............can't wait

Peace

This could quite possibly be the stupidest thing I've read to date...
The parts you're bitching about are options brainiac. They sell the carpet for those pieces seperately. Maybe it would pay off to READ the description of what you're buying in the catalog or on the website instead of just assuming that its going to replace every piece of carpeted trim in the entire car.

one would logically think that when a company says it sells replacement carpet you would get enough carpet for everywhere there is carpet. it does not say otherwise in my catalog. im not sayin that its hard to put in i agree its easy to install but i just wish they told you exactlywhat you would or wouldnt be getting.

i am also currently putting new carpet in my 89 iroc and was wondering if anyone knew where i could get QUALITY carpet that is made of 80/20 material, or basically anything other than the stock material. but it obviously still has to be cut to fit the stock application. pricing? any good companies out there that do this? thanks

Damien

I would not expect the carpet to come with the covers for the panels, I would be dissapointed if it did because it would be a waste, I would have to throw them away. Most 3rd gens didn't come with that extra carpet, and I have never heard of a kit that does come with it. Anyway, I have heard good things about ACC and 1aauto. If you get it from year one, it will be identicle to factory stuff, or so they claim.

What color are you looking for? I am looking to get rid of a light grey carpet set. It is brand new. Let me know if you are interested.
