I know I havent been here in a long time, sorry for that. I have had some very personal issues to take care of for the past year or so but Im back and I am having some problems I need help with.

I am having a problem, I went to the junkyard today and found some 4th gen seats that I wanted to get but when I went to make sure the power function works on them, not all did.
Every function worked except for the foward and backwards.

Have any of you ran into this problem. What could it be? The adjuster thingy?

How much would it be to have them fixed?

I can get the seats at a good price.

I ran across a similiar prob in a car i just bought. dont know if it will, my seat was manual. everything worked but the forward and back. so i sprayed the tracks down wiht wd-40 a few times. and forced the seat to move back and forth and it seemed that it just rusted into place. give it a try. oh by the way my seat was installed in the car.

anyone else had this problem? Should I just take a chance and get them?

When one of the functions go bad, what would it be? the controller or the motors?
