91 1/2 vert owners

I was wondering if anyone has compared the trunk space of a 91 and a 91 1/2 or 92. THey supposedly made the trunk space a little bigger but have nothing to compare it too. Does anyone have pics? I need to redo my trunk space and I was thinking maybe doing it is 92 plastic if it was that much of a difference. Also... Anyone parting out a 91 or 92 vert? Thanks

Braces for impact... hehe j/k

In 91 they changed the camaro have way through the year. They redesigned the rear panels next to the back seats adding a courtesy light. They also made some sort of change to the trunk.

The early convertibles use chopped coupe panels in the trunk, evidently the 92's have no panels at all or revised panels. I haven't seen one in person or pics yet.

The 92's had molded carpet side panels, while retaining the stock rear plastic panel.

The 92 Z28 convt got rid of the locking side compartment on the driver side. They also changed the spare tire cover. Both are a molded piece, kinda flimsy. I have an 89 convt and 92 convt. No great increase in trunk space. I mean come on, the trunk is pretty useless anyway.

Rob,

Did you use to live in the MD/PA/VA? For some reason I think I met you one of the first thirdgen get togethers in PA. Is your 89RS red? Just wondering. I might be thinking of another rob.

Yep, that was me. I used to live in Virginia Beach. I remember that gathering, I almost wiped out like 10 Amish people trying to get there I still have some good photos of that day (nothing scanned though )
I've since pulled the L98 and dropped in a ZZ4.
Nice car in your sig!

cool... Yeah I still have one pic from your car. I remembered you did alot. I have alot of pictures from it. I want some more. I still like the panoramic picture of all our cars lined up on the hill. We were the 3 convertibles lined up. Car got hit by a suburban alittle while ago. Lots of mods coming as soon as it comes back. Which I had the time or space to swap the block out. Good to hear you are still around
