saggy firebird head lights

i know we have all seen it. a firebird, trans am... with the head lights down. and they are sagging lower than the hood. i have took them apart a few times and still cant get them to line up 100% right with the hood. i hate having them sag. anyone know how to fix this.... i know i have all 4 screws on the cover and everything is bolted up tight underneath.. whats causing this... just old age or what?

Yeah, I know what your talkin about. Try adjusting the 2 bottom bolts. Theyre a pain to get to, youll have to get to them from underneath. Try losening them up, and adjust the light accordingly. Once the light is where ya want it, tighten them up, and you should be good to go.

Yeah, getting these right is a pain in the @ss. There's the four large bolts holding it to the frame PLUS there's more in there to move the actual light unit around within the headlight "frame" IIRC. I got one to look decent and got tired of dicking with the other - I'll revisit sometime in the future.

yeah i know all about the head lights. when they stopped working i had to invent them all over again. i didnt want to pay the 300 bucks for new ones or 100 from the junk yard (which didnt make sense because the car would be about the same age and who knows how much wear N' tear was on them...) so you think all the adjusting is on the bottom 2 bolts. the ones that you get to from under the car?
