I'm going to paint the shift indicator, plate around window switches, plates on door panels for locks and handle, ac/radio trim plate, vents, and dash cluster surround silver. What kind of paint do I want to use. And has anybody done this.
I am also looking at putting in silver guage inlays. Any pics?

 

Here is mine. I used Duplicolor paint and primer. Just make sure everything is clean and apply in thin coats. One thin primer coat followed by about 3 to 6 thin paint coats.

I painted the rer panels in my car and I just sprayed the primer on thickly...I got runns down the panels and i had to wait for them to COMPLETELY dry then I needed to sand the runs down. The paint drys fast but the primer will take a lot longer. take your time and make sure whatever you paint is completely dry.
