I need to know where to drill the holes for my spoiler!

I need to know where to drill the holes for my spoiler!

well I have my 3 piece spoiler and it's ready to be put on, I just need to know exactly how far apart and where to drill the holes, what size should the holes be etc.

Axle/Gears: 3.08/ 3.23
You could also make a template using some construction paper or posterboard. The factory holes are a small bit oversized to allow for minor fit adjustment.

Its easy, just make the templates and line them up correctly and you'll have no problems from it.I put a 3 piece on to my 85 SC, that makes a big difference once its on there. For some reason a camaro with out any kind of spoiler looks kinda wiered to me.

hell yea a camaro without a spoiler looks wierd, to me it doesn't even look sporty, just bland.


ok a template, good idea guys I just have to get the construction paper/carboard and I'm all set .

now one last thing, how the hell do I hook up the third brake light!?

just extend the wires down to your exsiting brake lights and tap into one of those.you can use a wire nut or some thing like that.

If you have a 3rd brake light in the spoiler (which I assume you don't have one one currently for some reason) , the factory way had a contact on the trim piece that covered the hatch latch (#2) and a spring loaded contact on the hatch deck (#1) that when shut (the hatch shut I mean) , made contact to light the 3rd brake light.
