Hey,

I don't have roll bar or a picture that would provide useful info for you, but I have seen a couple of verts with them installed. All the ones I've seen use a 4 point "cage" roll bar. They weld two points right behind the front seats and the other two points on the rear wheel wells or at least in those areas. Jegs sells 4 point roll cages for $122.99 part # 550-940301K perhaps you could give them a call for the measurements.

Look for "autoroc" on the camaroz28.com thirdgen board. He's got a nice setup in his 'vert.

I guess that depends if you want it just for looks or if you want it to actually be functional and NHRA legal.

WOW! I'm usually not much on the convertibles, but man that's a nice one! They had a pretty cool convertible with roll bars that got trashed in that movie where the diesels were the main thing, I think it was Black Dog. But man with that cage back there it'd be perfect to build a fiberglass box onto with a couple of 12s thumping into your back. Could be pretty wicked.

12" subs

ok you guys with your 12" subs you dont have to take up your back seat. I have a set of 12" solo barics and they do not take up any of my back seats and boy do they thump. I will be selling those or putting them in the 81z28, dont know yet. Now back to the roll bar are there any pictures of the iroc's interior that i can see and evaulate wether i want the full roll cage or not. Sorry to sound rude but summer is here and i dont want it put away to long. I know all of you can understand not wanting to lose your car for any amount of time. Thanks again Richard
