damn those squeeks!!!

Have any of you ever gone out of your way to solve the squeeks in these cars?

What did you do and did it work?

I know about the sf connectors helping... I'm wondering about what can be done for the dashboard, pillars etc...

Mine squeeked when I first bought her.....It was actually coming from the door lock/ latch. I painted the silver ****/torque bolt thingy that is on the body of the car and the door latch latches too black. Then I used electrical tape and rapped it around to pad it. It stopped the squeeks and believe it or not, is hardly noticable. My car is black though, so it matches....

I hear ya, those squeaks and noises that are just about everywhere? I've got a set of Spohn SFC's on the way, hopefully that will get rid of a bunch of it. Next up will be a wonderbar and 3 point strut tower brace, then shocks. Hopefully this will knock alot of it out...

Turn up the radio. That's the cheapest fix possible. But no, seriously, mine squeeks mostly around the t-tops on mine, especially in the winter. Thank *** summers almost here.

There are a lot less rattling with my windows down and/or the t-tops off. I don't know if road noise muffles it our what, but I think my windows must be loose and rattling. Only SFCs will fix the dashboard rattle, so I'm ordering Spohn's real soon!

i can relate.
i had horrible sound comming from my dash. part of the reason was i had a huge crack dead center of the dash right above the stereo head unit. so remedy that problem i went to a junk yard found a junk car with a good dash and took that out then toom my dash out and put the good one in. i am happy to say that i have to no sounds now. it only took me 2 days to do the swap, so it was good. i even put ina 145 mph cluster to go with it so now it lloks good.
