i dunno the answer to your questions but i do know i have the stock fiber glass hood off my 84 camaro i just replaced it wit a ascd ss hood

Dude I'm following you around.

Do not get an aluminum hood, unless you only drive in always sunny weather. Hate to see you caught in a hail storm.

Lots of people make good fiberglass hoods. Acsd, Harwood, etc...
Do a search on this forum, you will find alot of hood choices.

what kind of prices for used aluminum compared to fiberglass ?
whats the most i would have to spend to score either hood ?
im trying to make plans on losing this pig of a hood... i could buy one on tuesday if all goes as planned this weekend, but i havent locayed one yet,..

Damn, I meant on the board, but I was just kidding.

Get fiberglass, not aluminum, it dents way too easy.

I would order one if you have the cash. Or go to the junk yard and tell them you want a fiberglass hood that came stock on 3rdgen camaros, they will know what to point you to.

good luck finding such thing in a yard here, even if could i bet they would want damn near new price for it, so hmmm.

how much are glass hoods anyways ? URl to site with them ?

hmm prices still horrible, hmmm.. even for a stock glass hood, think i may skin my existing hood and pin it down..

Camrs89, ive never attended or been part of a club getogether of any kind, whats all inivoled, what happens typically ? could be interesting, hmmm.,
maybe Il stil be laid off at that date, hmmmm.... never know!

Well the meetings are just every month and usually just get together and hang out, have some food, and chit chat. I am planning some club events like going on the Hot rod power tour and some trips to the track as a club. We just started so feel free to come and add any ideas. Thanks
