swapping master cylinder

I was wondering if it is possible to use the master cylinder from a 95 vette as a replacement in my 85 T/A? I found a good deal on a brand new one. I've got half the car apart and I'm going to be installing C5 brakes on all 4 corners. If not does anyone know where to get a new reservoir for the stock master cylinder.

A buddy and I both put master cylinders off LS1 cars on our third gens. We did LS1 brakes up front. The 98+ master cylinders bolt right up and work great. Plus they look a heck of alot better too........

what did you do about the proportioning valve? Since our factory ones suck would one off a newer f body or vette work better? Or should I just go with an adjustable?

Meatman, did the LS1 master cylinders come with a resevoir? If not where did you get it?

I just bought mine used off of ebay and he bought his from junkyard. They both have the resevoirs. We are running the front brakes straight and then have a Wilwood adjustable for the rears. While we were there we just put in a line lock in the front brake line for fun also........

I just bought a LS1 master cylinder with resevoir from the dealer and I have been trying to find the brake line fittings for the front and rear ports on the MC....and have had no luck! Where did you get yours? Or did the stock 3rd gen fittings work fine?
