1LE spindles

Can anyone confirm this.

Keep in mind, this came from a Haynes manual. It said, that the 1LE spindles move the tire out about 1/2" farther than the stock spindle.

I was always under the impression the spindles were the same, just with the ears cut off.

Is it possible the hubs are what they are referring to?

The spindles are the same. The rotor is what moves the wheel out. They are thicker at the hub.

Cool, thanks. That is what I thought. Like I said, it was from a Haynes manual.
