Master cylinder cap problem!!
Ok well i was driving and i slamed on the brakes just to see how good they would catch and after i did that i saw smoke coming from the engine bay so i open my hood and the brake fuild was all over my exhaust manifold on the driver side. i replaced that stupid seal on the master cap where you add more fuild.. all the time it squrits out like nothing. what should i do?

A couple of questions, when you put the cap back on, how do you do it (I know that sounds weird)? Do you put the seal on the cap, and then put the cap on the master cylinder, or do you put the seal on the master cylinder, and then install the cap?
Where did you get the replacement seal, at an auto parts store or the dealership? Are you sure that it's a direct replacement, and is the same dimensionally as the old one?

i put the seal on first then the cap.
If so, try installing it the other way. Put the seal/gasket on the cap first, and then put the cap on. See if fluid comes out then.
Trying to seal the cap with the gasket on the cylinder can collapse the gasket, leaving a leak area. You have to put the gasket on the cover first, put the cap on and make sure all four tabs snap onto the reservoir.
