simple question
I don't know if it was already asked but I did a search and came up with nothing. I am going to attempt doing my own brakes. I have replaced pads in the past but never touched rotors. Well now my rotors are cut deep and have to get them milled down or new ones. How do I get them off? Is there like a guide online that can help me or can someone step by step it for me? I heard that if you take of the rotors you should replace the bearings too can someone help me with this too. For my final question, how much are new rotors, cheap ones, I have a v6 88 camaro?

Rear rotors? Take the calipers off and pull the rotor off.
Front rotors? Take the calipers off, take off the spindle nut and pull the rotor off.
You don't need to replace the bearings when you do the front rotors unless they show signs of damage like discoloration or scoreing or they don't spin freely or something. For what little bearings cost though, you could just replace them while you're in there. At the very least they should be cleaned and repacked.
