Bled today, now I have no brakes!

Okay, it all started a month ago. My brakes were really mushy and I could barely stop the car. I bled the rears by the drip-into-a-cup method, and I found I was able to stop a little easier. I was going to do the fronts too, but rounded off the bleeders on account of them being so old and probably never having been turned.
Fast forward to today...
Got a set of speed bleeders for the front, installed them. I had to vice grip them and practically tore them to shreds before they let loose. Each one I installed, I let the the fluid run out of the hole into a cup, no problem. The way the hole is situated, there was no way air was going into the line. Master cylinder never emptied, so I figured all was good. I started on the passenger side, stuck a hose on it, made a dip in it, sort of like the trap under the sink so I could watch for bubbles, and then ran it over so it would drip into a cup. Got my girlfriend to pump the pedal for me while I watched the hose and the master cylinder.
She said the pedal was getting harder to push and I was seeing clear fluid coming out, so I buttoned it up and moved to the driver's side. We did the same process over there.
When I got in the car, the pedal was so hard you couldn't push it, so I though I was done. When I started the car, the pedal was a little harder than normal, but when I pushed it, it went straight to the floor and the brake light came on.
I also noticed that now the rear brakes click when the pedal goes to the floor.
I never let the master cylinder empy, I refilled it every time the fluid got down to the "MIN" line. What in the world did I screw up?

Keep pumping it until pressure comes back. You'll have to pump it more then once.

I know that. I was pumping it over and over again.

Update:
I just went back out there to find brake fluid all over the garage floor around the tire. Looks like I'll be taking the wheel off again in the morning to see what happened.
