Should I have my uncle powder coat my calipers black? I just have stock calipers too. How much will it cost to powder coat something? Should I pay him? Or... is there something else I can use to paint them that will be good?

IMO, don't waste time or money on making stock calipers look better. Wait until you want to upgrade your brakes and then do them up nice.
