Are all of the C5 calipers the same except that the Z06's are powdercoated red? I know some of them are but wanted to make sure all were because I'm looking at a set at the junkyard. If so I will just powdercoat them myself along with the brackets. Does anyone know how much a caliper rebuild kit is for these? If I powder them myself I'll have to remove the pistons and seals.

I believe the Corvette calipers are all cast the same, just different colors. You can just hi-temp rattle can black them.

 

Thanks...I bought a set of standard C5 calipers on ebay last night...I'm going to powdercoat them myself in red.

One last question which I actually put in another post but I'll ask here too.....is the bracket that needs to be fabbed the same dimensions for standard C5 rotors and Z06 rotors? I know the Z06's are a larger diameter.
